Do you ever get tired of eating the same old snacks? Do you feel that some snacks aren’t filling enough to hold you over to your next meal? You’re not alone! Depending on what time you eat a snack, it’s possible to determine approximately how long it will keep you going. The trick is to effectively combine carbohydrates, fats and proteins according to what time it is and how hungry you are. Here are a few tips:

Cut back on the slow carbs for this one and opt for protein and fast and fatty carbs. Here are two tasty options:
- Snack on nuts and dried fruits to keep you going
- Eat a few crackers with deli meats and cheese cubes (Our thin sliced Salametti is ideal!)

30 minutes to go, but you aren’t going to make it. You’re starving! Snack on faster carbs or protein! Eat a piece of fruit, a few vegetables or a few bites of your favourite deli meat.
