Carbonara - Style Spaghettini with Pancetta

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag 175g (1 cup) Fantino & Mondello Diced Black pepper Pancetta
  • ½ box (225g) Spaghettini, uncooked (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Fresh garlic, chopped
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Dry white wine
  • 500 ml (2 cups) 15% cream
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) Italian parsley (flat), chopped

PREPARATION

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a non-stick pan, gently fry the Pancetta.
  3. Add white wine and chopped garlic, let reduce by half.
  4. Add cream, Parmesan and parsley, bring to boil.
  5. Add sauce to the warm pasta and enjoy!

TIPS

Add on top a few walnuts, it’s different and delicious!
