- 1/3 cup (80 ml) Fantino & Mondello Diced Chorizo Dry Sausage
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) canned chick peas, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup (250 ml) quick oats
- ½ cup (125 ml) hummus
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) roasted pumpkin seeds
- Pinch ground cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) cumin
- Zest and juice from one lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- In a bowl, use a fork to crush the chick peas.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Taste, and adjust the seasoning.
- Roll 12 balls using your hands. Refrigerate in a sealed container.
Can be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator and one month in the freezer.
